Clinton began buying and selling general aviation aircraft in 1990. He earned his private pilot license in 1991. With flying now a passion, Clinton quickly earned his instrument, commercial, and ATP ratings, along with type ratings in multiple jet and turboprop aircraft. Mr. Pye is an accomplished pilot with over 10,000 hrs of flying time. His wife, Jenny, is also a pilot, currently flying the Boeing 747-400 commercially and a wide variety of general aviation aircraft privately.
In 2000, Clinton started Lancaster Airport, Inc. to manage and develop Lancaster Regional Airport (KLNC) in Lancaster, Texas. After raising $15 million in private and federal funding, Mr. Pye was instrumental in gaining approval for the first WAAS instrument approaches in Texas. He also initiated and supervised the construction of over 200,000 square feet of new hangar space. The City of Lancaster purchased Mr. Pye’s stake in 2008. From 2008 thru 2015, Clinton worked with Pollard Aircraft Sales.
While instructing in the Citation 650 at the CAE Dallas West Training Center (formerly SimuFlite), Clinton created CTP Holdings, Inc. to address the broader needs of the business aircraft industry.

In 2015, Mr. Pye shifted all buying and selling operations to Aviano Aircraft Company. Since then, Clinton has sold over 200 aircraft to various companies and individuals. Mr. Pye’s clients can be found worldwide.
Clinton manages the daily operations of CTP Holdings, Inc. and Aviano Aircraft Company from his office located in the Texas Jet facility at Meacham International Airport (KFTW) in Fort Worth, Texas.
